More from our Members...

I first joined for a bit of fitness, not really appreciating that it would become such an important part of my life. It is not just physical fitness, when you are taught by a real professional Shihan it really is body, mind & spirit that you are developing when you train.

You even find yourself reflecting on things you’ve learned including other aspects of karate like etiquette, focus or breathing outside of the dojo, so you are training all the time in some way. It becomes a part of you.

Black Belt 3rd Dan

I have been training at Williams Family Karate for over 16 years and can highly recommend.

After reaching 2nd Dan black belt in another style, I decided to make the change and I’m so glad I did.

Shihan Mike Williams goes above and beyond to train and assist his students. Ensuring that everyone understands how to perform the techniques and just as importantly, why they are necessary and effective.

On top of that, nowhere else I have trained has direct lineage to the original style and dojo in Japan.

We are also given the opportunity to compete, train and grade in Japan which is an awesome experience for any martial arts enthusiast.
